Carrot Cake Recipe

Moist and fluffy homemade carrot cake with the cream cheese on your favorite book.


Ingredients:-


Cake:-

  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. Baking powder
  • 1 c. Pecans, cut sm.
  • 4 c. Grated carrots
  • 1 c. Vegetable oil
  • 2 c. Flour
  • 2 tsp. Baking soda
  • 2 tsp. Cinnamon

 Icing:-
 
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 stick margarine, softened
  • 1 box powdered sugar (1 lb.)
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla extract
 Directions:-

Cake: stir all dry ingredients (except pecans and carrots) together and then add eggs and oil. Mix until just blended and then add carrots and pecans. Bake at 375 to 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until done. Icing: mix cream cheese and margarine until smooth, add sugar and vanilla and blend. Ice when cake is cool.

Ingredients
  • 1 oz Stoli Ohranj vodka
  • 1/4 oz triple sec
  • 1/2 oz orange juice
  • 1 tsp sugar syrup
Directions:-

Pour the Stoli orange vodka (Ohranj), triple sec, orange juice and sugar syrup into a cocktail shaker half-filled with cracked ice. Shake well, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

Gloom Lifter Recipe



Ingredients

  • 2 oz Irish whiskey
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • 1/4 oz sugar syrup
  • 1/2 egg white

Preparation Directions:

Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

Copperhead Recipe

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/4 oz vodka
  • 6 oz ginger ale
Directions:-

Combine in an ice cube-filled collins glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Lugger Recipe



Ingredients
  • 1 oz apple brandy
  • 1 oz brandy
  • 1 dash apricot brandy

Preparation Directions:

Stir all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

Blonde Smoothie Recipe



Ingredients
  • 1/2 gal premium vanilla ice cream
  • 750 ml white wine
  • 1 can drained fruit cocktail

Preparation Directions:

Scoop ice-cream into a large bowl (stainless or glass, but plastic will do). Slowly pour wine into bowl and mix until smooth (but not runny, or melted). Fold in (well drained) fruit cocktail. Serve in wine glass with ice-cream scoop (add tacky paper umbrella if desired). Keep in freezer when not being served.
